Park Royal Beach Ixtapa, Ixtapa (Guerrero)

We returned to this resort because we loved the location five years ago, and it did not disappoint! The beaches are beautifully clean and the view from our room was spectacular. While there were some issues, like high surf making beach activities challenging for less experienced swimmers and overcrowded pool areas on weekends, we felt safe and well cared for. The staff was exceptional, making our stay very enjoyable. However, the food quality varied, and we found some options to be mediocre. Overall, it's a lovely place with so much to offer, but improvements in dining options could make it even better.

I recently spent a couple of weeks at the Park Royal and while there were many enjoyable aspects, there were also notable drawbacks. The staff was exceptional and the beach access was excellent, but the music was uncomfortably loud, especially at night. The dining experience had its highs and lows, and despite my room being clean, it lacked some comfort features I'd expect.

The Park Royal has an amazing beach location and a lovely pool area, which really enhanced my stay. I really wish the dining experience had been better as I ended up eating out for dinner every night. Overall, it's a decent place to stay if you enjoy the beach but be prepared for some shortcomings.

I had a relaxing vacation at the hotel, with a beautiful beach location and a dedicated staff that truly makes you feel welcome. The rooms were nice but not without issues, as my initial room faced a pool full of children, which was not ideal for relaxation.
